Studio Elion blue
The completely newly renovated Elion Blue Studio is a one-room studio plus bathroom, approximately 25 square meters in size, located on the ground floor of a newer detached house, surrounded by a lush garden with many evergreen trees and shrubs.
The studio is accessed through a private entrance from the garden terrace. It features a small kitchenette in the Cycladic Patití-style masonry, equipped with a refrigerator (with a freezer compartment), sink, kettle, plates, glasses, and cutlery. The bathroom, decorated with blue mosaic tiles, gives the feeling of being in a pool. It includes a shower, toilet, and sink. Hot water is available 24 hours a day.
The queen-size double bed (measuring 1.90 m x 1.60 m) was handcrafted from wood on the island by a local carpenter. There is a large built-in wardrobe with sliding doors in Cycladic style, featuring shelves and a hanging rod. The windows are fitted with mosquito nets to ensure a peaceful and undisturbed sleep.
Naxos Tips
The ground-floor studio comes with a private terrace in front of the entrance, featuring a built-in marble bench made from Naxos stone, chairs, and a table, with views of and access to the garden. The terrace provides shade in the morning and until after midday, with sun in the evening. Those who enjoy full-day sunshine can always find a sunny spot in the garden. The entire garden area in front of and next to the studio is accessible to guests. From the garden, there is a stunning view to the northwest over the Livádi plain towards the sea and Naxos Town, including its Venetian castle.
The studio is located 3.5 km from the sea at Agía Ánna, one of the island’s popular beach destinations. The fantastic beaches of the west coast extend directly beyond Agía Ánna. The house and property are situated outside the main village centers, in the gently rising hills south of Naxos Town, offering more tranquility and relaxation than the busy villages and tourist areas directly on the beach.
A rental vehicle is recommended and can be arranged. The distance to Naxos Town and the port is approximately 7 km, while the small island airport is 5 km away. Bakeries, butcher shops, and small supermarkets can be found in the nearby villages of Vívlos and Glinádo (2 minutes by car). Free drinking water is available at public fountains in these villages.
The accommodation is quiet yet close to the island’s main tourist centers, offering a relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the town and beach.
